Big Blade is the cover for large heat pumps with strict and elegant architectural shapes. It protects the outdoor unit from rain and hail, reduces noise, and enhances the facade.
Available in different sizes and three possible installation configurations:
- Wall Installation
- Ground installation, next to the wall
- Ground installation free standing
This model is for heat pumps installed on the ground next to the wall, and is therefore equipped with adjustable brackets that allow the distance from the wall to be increased by up to 6cm and adjustable feet that compensate for any unevenness in the floor.
The cover is made of composite aluminium, which compared to simple sheet metal is more flexible, more insulating, and produces less noise in wind and driving rain.
Available in two basic colours and many different special colours on request. The cover can be painted (we recommend ordering the colour white in this case).
Measure your heat pump
Follow these guidelines to select the correct cover size. Choosing the right size is essential to ensure a perfect fit and optimal protection of your air conditioner.
Width
Measure the width taking into account the protruding elements of the unit. Also pay special attention to the footprint of the pipes.
Height
Measure the height from the floor to the roof of the unit. The ground feet are extendable up to 6cm and allow you to compensate for any unevenness in the ground.
Depth
Measure the depth taking into account the protruding elements of the unit. Pay particular attention to the dimensions of the floor supports and pipes.
Materials
The shell of our covers is made of aluminium composite, with a solid, lightweight polymer panel enclosed between two strong, painted aluminium layers. The panel is stronger and more durable than wood and maintenance-free, and is quieter and more insulating than sheet metal.
The support elements, brackets and hardware are made of robust, stainless steel.
Wall distance
The stainless steel wall bracket is adjustable in 4 positions to increase the wall distance from zero to 6cm.
This makes it possible to compensate for uneven walls, bypass obstacles such as bulky pipes, and adapt to a greater number of models and installations.
Adjustable feet
Our floor-mounted covers are equipped with adjustable feet. Extendable by up to 6cm, they allow you to precisely compensate for any unevenness in the floor.
In the large Big Blade covers, the adjustable feet are already included and pre-installed before shipment.
Colour
The basic white colour is ideal for customising the cover on site, in the colour of the wall or fixtures, or transforming it into a work of art.
