Our colour range brings life to dated Patio’s that are in need of rejuvenation. The colours offer a variety of texture options too, using natural aggregates, crushed stone, marble and recycled coloured glass – created in-house for extra Quality Assurance.

ProSet paving is equally suitable for new build and refurbishment projects, providing a fully permeable surface that allows water to freely drain through the paving – the rate of permeability depending on the size of aggregate and type of sub-base specified.

Our resin bound paving effectively provides a highly attractive, durable, long-lasting surface that requires virtually no maintenance. The low energy material is mixed cold on site and floated by skilled installers to deliver a smooth finish, ideal for areas where wheelchairs and pushchairs may be used.

RESIN BOUND VS RESIN BONDED	Although very similar in name, resin bound and resin bonded are actually very different. Resin bound paving is what we do…This system mixes natural aggregate, marble or recycled materials and clear resin thoroughly together. During this process, each particle of stone is fully covered in resin and laid immediately onto a base, to a smooth permeable finish. The finished depth of a resin bound paving surface varies between 12mm and 24mm – depending on the size and type of stone used and the application (e.g. driveway). Using a resin bound paving system allows us to combine different sizes and colours of stone, offering a wide variety of finishes.In summary, a resin bound system delivers a permeable, durable, accessible, multi-layer surface. Because the finish is smooth there is no loose stone – guaranteed. Resin bonded is what we don’t do… This system involves applying a film of resin to the surface, on top of which clean, dry aggregate is scattered; completely covering the resin. Once cured, any excess stone is swept up. The size of stone used in the resin bonded system ranges from 1mm to 6mm. The thin, impermeable, single stone layer tends to have a rougher more textured finish. In summary, a resin bonded system delivers a non-permeable, single stone layer surface. Because the stone only adheres to the resin on one side, there is potential for the stone to become loose and scattered.
NATURAL AGGREGATE	Natural Aggregate paving is our most popular product; providing the widest range of functional and aesthetically pleasing options of our permeable resin bound paving… Available in different aggregate sizes and textures, the colours range from rich golden browns and mellow shades of honey to crisp whites and modern charcoal. Our Natural Aggregate range offers something to suit all types of projects and designs.

ProSet resin bound paving is a low energy product, cold mixed on site, using the EcoBatcher our plastic saving machinery, and applied by skilled installers. Faster installation with less mess ProSet resin bound gravel is up to one third faster than some other materials to install. Approximately 250m² a day can be laid over existing surfaces such as asphalt and concrete (in reasonable condition); making it a convenient way to refresh tired looking areas. We deliver a hardwearing, low maintenance surface ProSet is a porous paving that leaves a perfectly smooth, accessible finish strong enough to withstand vehicles. With just occasional sweeping and periodic power washing a ProSet surface provides many years of high-quality performance.
FAQ'S	How much will a resin patio cost? Each project is costed individually depending on the requirements and area that needs covering. How long do resin patios last? When properly installed a resin patios can last up to 25 years. Can you pressure wash a resin patios? Yes you can pressure wash a resin driveway, but you need to do so carefully – see our guide on maintaining a resin drive for more information on how to properly clean your driveway. Are resin patios slippery? Resin driveways can be slippery when wet, but there are ways to help minimise the risk through proper installation and maintenance. For example, all of our resin driveways have a non-slip surface applied over the top to help prevent slippery surfaces when wet or icy. How do you clean a resin patio? Resin patios don’t require any special treatment – you can use soap and water, a pressure washer (carefully), or specialised cleaning fluid for tougher marks – but there are a few tips to follow to make sure your driveway stays in top condition.
