There are many applications where Rite-L-Edge – Hard Landscape Edging should be used instead of Rite-Edge lawn and border edging, but the general rule of thumb is that if the surface to be edged requires any form of mechanical compaction then the most suitable depth of Rite-L-Edge should be used.
The Rite-L-Edge – Hard Landscape Aluminium edging system has been designed with both the landscape architect and installer in mind, with its L shape design section for additional strength it is easy to install and lasts a lifetime. The product is suitable for all hard landscaping projects and can be used in conjunction with asphalt, paving slabs, block paving, resin bonded, concrete and loose gravel surfaces. Suitable for use in public and private areas including playgrounds, parks and surrounding areas to landscapes and buildings.

Rite L Edge is available in a variety of different depths from 18mm- 150mm with each length measuring 2.4m so is versatile for any hard landscaping project. Joining of the lengths is very quick and simple as connectors are supplied which simply slide into the back of the upright L shape giving a flush joint. The product will need to be secured into the ground by use of extra strong steel fixing pins which are sold separately, we generally recommend 30cm spacing for compacted surfaces and 50cm for non-compacted surfaces.
